About cookies
What does the one cookie actually do?
This site sets a single cookie so it does not have to ask your age twice in the same sitting — that is the whole of it.
In short
One cookie, one purpose
The website sets exactly one cookie, and it exists purely to remember that you have already confirmed your age.
It is not an advertising cookie, and nothing on this domain feeds a marketing network of any description; it does not follow you to another website once you leave this one.
What it stores
What the cookie actually holds
- A yes or no to the age question, nothing more specific than that.
- No name, no address, no email, nothing that points back to you personally.
- It expires by itself after a while, or you can clear it sooner.
- It is never shared, sold or passed along to an advertiser.
If you would rather not
How to turn it off
- Clear it from your browser at any point; there is no penalty for doing so.
- The only change you will notice is the age question reappearing on your next visit.
- Every other part of the site reads exactly the same either way.
